The Berker instabus EIB is an intelligent system that connects your electrical devices via a control wire. This way multiple devices can be controlled simultaneously. With only a single control display or a few switches you can operate the light in just the same way as the heating, Venetian blinds, or the alarm system. If you like, you can even call up the functions or status from your PC or Palm.

Moreover, you can teach your house to take care of itself in certain zones. By means of sensors it can detect good or bad weather, and can close the shutters all by itself if necessary. What this means is even when you are not at home you can be sure that your house is thinking like you.

The Berker radio bus system is the ideal way to modernise your electrical installations without knocking holes in your walls. Because the Berker radio bus fits in everywhere.

It only takes a few modules to equip your house, your apartment or your office for the utmost comfort, convenience and security. And you can begin right away, because the radio bus does not require any additional electric cable. Lighting, household appliances, electric Venetian blinds and sunblinds, your heating system, alarm system and munch more can be activated via radio. All you do is press a button or switch on the hand-held or wall-mounted transmitter, and a radio signal transmits your command to one or more receivers in the house.

The hand-held and wall-mounted transmitters are both battery-operated, and are simple to install anywhere, even on glass surfaces. Like conventional light switches and dimmers, the receivers are available as wall inserts, as cord dimmers for floor lamps, or as adapter plugs for socket outlets. As built-in receivers they can be hidden almost anywhere, and in the case of suspended ceilings they can be connected directly to the device or light source. If you relocate, you can simply take the radio bus with you.
